Donna B. Forrest is a Certified School Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of South Carolina and Georgia. She is also a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC). Ms. Forrest has worked at Merriwether Elementary School in North Augusta, South Carolina for the last 14 years as both a teacher and school counselor. She is also in private practice as a pastoral counselor specializing in children, youth, and family therapy.

Currently Ms. Forrest is working on a Ph.D. in Special Education at the University of South Carolina. Prior degrees are held in Elementary Education (B.A.) and Counselor Education (M.Ed. and Ed.S.)

Her love for children and the necessary life skills that are taught through Character Education activities coupled with a writing hobby led to the publishing of 180 Days of Character, Character Under Construction, and soon to be released 180 Days of Manners!
