Dr. Ciardiello received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Maryland, her Masters Degree in Social Work from Columbia University and her Ph.D. from Yeshiva University, Wurzweiler School of Social Work. She has written a book on group work with children and a book on group work with adolescents. She facilitates workshops and presentations at the national and international level. Her practice includes working with children and adolescents (grades 4 and up), college students, and adults via ADHD coaching or individual, couples, and/or or family therapy to address difficulty with parenting, grief and loss, job/work/school stress, social skills, interpersonal relationship difficulties, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, self-harm, and OCD. Dr. Ciardiello’s approach to psychotherapy is eclectic, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and psychoeducational models.
Dr. Ciardiello has been on the Board of Directors and is a member of the International Association for Social Work with Groups (IASWG) and has been an active member of CHADD and NASW for over twenty years.
