  • A tool to audit energy management and replace draining pursuits with life-giving ones
  • Key questions to identify and live by core values and priorities, thus reducing stress

This book – wow. It’s a work book and a personal / professional development book in one, and it’s really powerful! Just looking at the exercises provided makes me grateful that this is available for teacher libraries. This text would be awesome for a book club with your PLC or entire staff. Teacher mental health and well-being is central to recruiting and retention of school professionals!

So many educators are struggling with burnout. This is a great workbook to help process what’s causing stress, reprioritizing one’s self and suggestions for ways to increase self care. This book will be great for a staff read!

Dr. Melisa Marsh’s new workbook provides a guide of activities that you could use personally. Think of it as a self-paced support system. This book would also be a great book for counselors to use as a guide to run a small group or even as a teacher workshop/PD series. I could envision using it as part of an afterschool support group for teachers or even as part of PD series before and during the school year.
